It's finger licking salty.

It’s been ages since my last visit to KFC and it's all started when just now I was dreadfully felt hungry.Well it was already 2.30 pm and I should have my lunch by now. Despite abundance eateries within my office area ,just name it, Restoran Ful Lin, Kim Fatt Steamboat Restorant, Ming Bat Kut The, Restoran KEtam Steamboat Seafod, etc (a lot right?),yet I have limited choices. Actually no choice at all. I have to drive all the way to the only 2 malay roadside stalls nearby or else I get sweating all over if I decided to have a good walk exercise to get there.

Still thinking of what to have for my quick lunch, suddenly ....bling...!!!!!

came across my mind. No thank to the tv commercial advertisement but to my bloggermate who had recently posted an entry mentioned about her mengidam to eat the latest colonel's combo but ended up eating the “the Kempis Kyros Kebab”. So im going for it!

Being so kebuluq at the time, fast food restoran would be great for my quick lunch, so I drove to the nearest KFC outlet which took me about 10 minutes drive.

Hah!There you are.

Seeing the shining red signboard with the white text from far, indubitably make me not to think twice, quickly parked my car and walked confidently into the outlet. While my eyes zooming in onto the menu board searching for the half2 melz menu ….

Counter staff: Selamat petang cik, bole saya bantu…?

Me: Emm…Half2 meltz set menu takde ker ?(dgn konfidennya)

Counter staff: Ooo…itu KFC kak! Kedainya di sebelah sana.(while pointing her finger out to the KFC outlet just on the other corner of the building)

Me : Ooo ye kerr. Thank anyway..(dlm hatiku berkata : “Ya Allah! Aku kt dlm Mc Dddddddddddddddddd rupanya”. Ishh bodoh…bodohh!!)

How come? I did sub-consciously associate KFC red colour sign with the same McD red colour sign due the FACT that, the dinosaur inside my tummy was already damn hungry.

Sama tak?

Ker aku sorang jer yg perasan cam gitu!!

Moral of the story : Lapo lapor jugak, tapi berwaspada ler slalu.

Nah! Here is my kempis Fresh and Hot SUPER SAVORY Half-Half Meltz.

Yup,the cheezy sauce was really salty even im a "masin type"(tak tau the correct word :)) person.

Since i was really hungry like i had told you earlier, i managed to finish all the 4 cuts.

Half day effort

My childhood fren, Zety a.k.a schoolmate, and also "bau2 bacang relative" came to my house on Saturday night. Bringing along the biggest paper beg i had ever seen filled with tranparent rectangle boxes inside plus the many colurs of ribbons, and a bunch of artificial flowers in a plastic beg!!!Hehehheeh....It's the raw materials of tray of gifts for her coming Engagement Day to be held during Raya Haji ke-2.Nak mintak tolong akak gubah la tu nyah...

Gedabak besor!!!Tp dlm pic ni mcm kecik jerr....

After about 1/2 an hour briefing session (theme colour, deco, qty), the total number of gift-trays and the number of items returned as gifts by the potential bride of course in odd numbers,9 reciprocate by 7 from the potential groom. But she just gave me 3+5 of boxes and the rest would be prepared by her family such as betal leaf container, fruits, and others to complete number of trays. After that, she quickly excused herself to catch up the midnite movie with...(hemm...org tgh hangat bercinta)and she promised to come again tomorrow to give me a helping hand on the decoration work.

I had a full of running errands in the next morning, doing the mum’s chores and finished my last agenda by preparing chicken soup, fried fish and telur dadar for lunch before started with the tray gift decoration at 1 o clock.Zety came in about 1 hour later to help whatever that she could….

We spent about 5 ½ hour non stop making, wrapping and decorating 8 boxes and 2 baskets of “hantaran gifts” and the work became a lot "faster" than it should be with the help of…

these to generous assistants.!!!

But I'm sure that after seeing everything is completed eventhough she only requested for a very simple decoration, the half day effort definitely all be worth it. I really love to do it.

Now i humbly presenting
my very little contribution to you,to make your coming precious pre-Big Day meaningful.

Note: Che' Na, we are waiting for your turn next.

Sandal akak putus nyahh...

The story went something like this.

It was dark and already late. Very late for me to head back home from office at around 9.30pm. Luckily my dear darling was able to fetch my kids at their babysitter’s place(just next door..bunyi cam jauh jerrr) on time but still..i had tu rush back because dinner is not ready(walhal tapau kt restoran dpn umah tu jer..ahaks) yet.
Once finished, my work, I quickly walked out and suddenly my little tiny heel got stuck somewhere ….and forcing my feet so hard to pull out the heel, causing the strap to snap. Arrghhh…

I’ve been wearing my “hubby-to-coax-gift” scholl sandal to the office for the past 2 days.I do have a few pair of proper sandals but the 2 1/2" platform make me think twice to wear it to the office.

Best plak pakai selipar cam gini gi ofis...

And 2 days after the incident, dragged me to the nearest store nearby my office...

Thankfully for it being the Malaysia Year End Sales, there are million stores out there waiting for me to head out and get a good bargain price for a new pair of shoe. This time around I’ll definitely will look for a full covered shoe(It’s been almost 8 yrs? since I bought tis type of shoe - case close). All this while I chose to buy mules especially, high heel sandal, peep toe pump, etc.,for office wear. (The King boots for site visit does not count)

I was trying almost every pair on the shelves, none would satisfied me (price, design, colour, comfort) plus all shoes are not really me. I have to find one which are most importantly , COMFORTABLE and PRACTICAL.

But while looking around, I took notice of something I had never realize before it does exist till my good gossiping buddy mentioned about it a few days ago, and I sneered at…

70% discount? Get closer..Aahh 70% discount(so overwhelming).I checked the price first upon trying. RMxxx. Less 70% went to quick calculation sum up to “multiply by A divided by C minus Z approximate to WORTH BUYING”. I knew it must be out of season stocks to be cleared off for the price being slashed down, but still no big deal to me.Lucky me after having about an hour catwalk trying session of all shoes display on shelves(try to exaggerate here), walking front and back I decided on Black(safe colour indeed) classic leather slip-ons. Emm..it’s comfort my beauty feet and “rugi kalu tak beli”. If I want to pick any others good quality leather shoes of course the price are way too expensive for me to pay for which most of them do only have 10-20% less. Hello! No way. No time even to have a “jelingan manja” let alone to try it out.

Don't you think it gorgeous?
Something is timeless. And never go away. Ever. Comfortable and simplistic yet fabulous (hehhe..perasan).
